Books: It's Meme Time Again…

A bit behind again, but anyways…
TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
- Grab your current read.
- Let the book fall open to a random page.
- Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
- You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

Since “Inspiration” is (or should) the theme this week … what is your reading inspired by?
Good question…I guess what I read depends on my mood. After I read a classic (i.e. Dickens’s Expectations), I’ll likely be in need of a change of pace, like something light-hearted (i.e. Fielding’s Bridget Jones’s Diary) or action-packing (anything by Steve Berry). Sometimes after I read something profound and intense (like Zafon’s The Shadow of the Wind), I’ll be on the lookout for books that could have a similar affect on me or a similar theme. And sometimes I’ll pick up a book when I see an interesting period drama or movie that was based on a book
